What type of club is the Urbana Country Club?
UCC is a full-service, private country club with full amenities including fine dining, an outstanding golf course, pool, tennis courts and banquet facilities.
What is the average age of members?
The Urbana Country Club has a diverse mix in ages ranging from the 20s to the 90s.
Does full-service mean more members and crowded conditions?
The key ratio here is the number of members per hole of golf. Our golf membership, which includes complete usage of all our facilities is restricted to 400 (200 per 18 holes).
Is it more desirable to join a ”mature” club like UCC?
Clearly a club as mature as UCC, whose members have weathered any challenging transition processes, offers a more stable and predictable situation. Even though change is as much a part of Club operation as in life, those considering membership should be able to concentrate on enjoyment of Club facilities and programs and not on financial uncertainty.
How long is the membership application process?
Each membership application must be approved and sponsored by two current members. Typically, it takes no more than a few days for your application to be processed.
I don’t know anyone at the club, can I still join?
UCC member applicants do require a sponsor and if you are new to UCC, the management would be happy to introduce you to the Club and current members of similar interests.
What types of membership are offered at UCC?
The Urbana Country Club offers many types of membership opportunities ranging from those who simply want to enjoy the fine dining and atmosphere offered in our Member Grille, to those who prefer to experience the full range of a country club: fine dining, excellent tennis programs, swimming and pool activities and certainly our outstanding golf course and golf programs.

Our Clubhouse
Urbana Country Club has one of the most picturesque and challenging 18-hole golf courses in the area. Course play is available from March through November, as the season weather permits.
