Our championship 18 hole golf course is consistently maintained to the highest standard. Our staff of P.G.A. Golf Professional and Assistants offer private instruction, workshops, clinics, and schools to members throughout the season. The extensive Junior Golf program develops young golfers and helps them appreciate the sport. Although a challenging course, UGCC provides a beautiful setting and a friendly experience for players of all skill levels. Though many clubs have done away with the opportunity to play golf the way it was originally played, at the Urbana Golf & Country Club, members and guests still have the choice of riding the course on an electric golf car or partaking in the tradition of walking the course.

Tennis
Along side the tennis pavilion are three hard surface tennis courts. All courts are maintained regularly for optimum performance. A nice mix of activities are under the supervision of our tennis professional, Dave Fauble. Tennis leagues, clinics and a Junior Tennis program assists members in learning the game or improving their skills. Private or group tennis lessons are offered for all levels of play throughout the season.

Swimming

Steps from the Clubhouse, a full size Olympic swimming pool with a diving area becomes a central gathering place through the summer months. Whether members come for a quick dip, or a brisk swim, a swimming lesson to competitive team swimming, the Urbana Golf & Country Club pool is the place to while away the day under the sun. Summer days are filled with members relaxing on the comfortable deck furniture, reading a good book, or enjoying a cool drink on the patio. When you're ready for a bite to eat, the pool side full-service snack bar offers a variety of items to satisfy adults and children. Parents enjoy the safety and entertainment of the gated wading pool, separate from the main pool, that was created just for toddlers.
